Dr. Berdy

Dr. Christian S. Berdy was born in France and moved to Colorado with his family at the age of 8 years old.  He received his B.A at the University of Colorado, and then received his Professional Dental training at the University of Illinois. From there, he served in the United States Navy as an Officer from 1968 - 1973. Afterwards, Dr. Berdy decided to advance his specialty training in Periodontics at the University of North Carolina. In 1975, Dr. Berdy moved himself and his family to Jacksonville where he became part of the team of Drs. Frank Scott, Jack Watson, and Richard Miller. To present, Dr. Berdy is the only remaining doctor of this historic practice.

Dr. Berdy is currently a member of numerous nationally and internationally recognized dental associations including the American Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, North American Society of Periodontists, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Federation Dentaire Internationale. He is also involved with many local chapters that include the Florida Dental Association and Jacksonville Dental Society. Currently serving as the president elect for the Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration, Dr. Berdy has served past presidency positions for the Clay County Dental Soceity, Duval County Dental Study Club, and Florida Society of Periodontists.

Dr. Berdy is also a nationally recognized speaker for advanced periodontology and comprehensive patient care. He has served as a featured speaker numerous times for societies that include the Philippine Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Northeast District Hygienists Society, and many more. He recently received an Award of Merit for his involvement with advancing patient care and promoting continual patient education.
